SB Lessons offers a wide range of teaching and playing facilities as part of any standard tuition agreement. Our house kit is a Sonor Force 3001 fusion model, regularly tuned and re-skinned for sound quality purposes. Zildjian cymbals are also provided.

 

Tutors have access to both physical teaching materials such as books, as well as digital materials such as videos and online tutorials. We use a split over-ears headphone monitoring system, allowing the tutor immediate control over sound levels, as well as giving the student an adequate level of sound protection as well. This architecture allows for the possibility of online lessons in special circumstances alongside in-person ones.

Students are allowed to bring in whatever materials and equipment that they feel would benefit their own personal lesson content, but it is highly recommended that sticks, hearing protection, and something to take notes with are brought along as standard.
