LESSON PLAN AND PRICING AGREEMENT

When you subscribe to tuition with SB Lessons, you agree to either of the following plans;

​

60-minute lessons at a reoccuring pre-agreed weekly time slot at £150 per month.

or

45-minute lessons at a reoccuring pre-agreed weekly time slot for primary school children at £120 per month.

​

You will be invoiced on the 25th of the month, with payment expected by no later than the 1st of the following month. Any late payment will be charged at a rate of £5.00 per day past the 1st.

​

Any applicable reductions in your usual monthly amount will also be itemized and listed on your invoice. Monthly subs are discounted at either £40/£32 per lesson respectively, and the conditions for meeting those discounts are listed in the following section.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION, AND HOLIDAY POLICY

Lessons that can't be attended or rescheduled to a mutually available time are non-reinbursable. There are however instances where a reduction will be applied, which are as follows;

​

Teacher cancellation

Pre-arranged holiday absences within certain windows

Use of a total exemption allowance

​

Students are entitled to take certain pre-arranged absences during certain periods that correlate to the school academic year. These absences must be noted in writing no later than two weeks of the relevant dates. They are as follows;

​

Easter holidays (maximum of 2 lessons)

Summer holidays (maximum of 3 lessons)

Christmas holidays (maximum of 3 lessons)

Every student is entitled to 3 total exemption allowances per year. This is primarily designed for accidents and emergencies but in reality they are for use as you see fit. They must be specified for use on the day of the lesson in question taking place, and cannot be redeemed retroactively outside of that window.

TERMINATING YOUR AGREEMENT

​

You may give notice of intent to terminate your agreement with no less than two weeks of the date of your departure. All lessons scheduled to take place within the window of your notice will be included within your final invoice.

​

You are welcome to return and initiate a new lesson plan agreement at any time by contacting us via the usual channels. However, you will not be entitled to another trial lesson, and it is not guaranteed that your previous weekly slot will be available should you do so.

SB Lessons reserves the right to terminate your agreement at any point. All outstanding lessons will then be invoiced for appropriately.

LAST MINUTE LESSONS

​

Availability for Last Minute Lessons is posted on our Instagram account two days before the lesson slot being advertised. These lessons are offered at a discounted rate of £28 per hour, and payment is chargeable in advance and must clear before the lesson's scheduled time and date. Lessons cancelled the day before will be refunded 50% of the initial fee, and no refunds are available for cancellations on the day. Cancellations initiated by SB Lessons are fully refundable.

Being offered a lesson of this format is not a commitment to a long-term lesson subscription, nor is it guaranteed that the same time slot will be available in the future.

 

This offer is not open to existing SB Lesson's clients, or previous SB Lessons clients within 12 months of their last lesson.
